Did you mean:

when an item sells, it is not removed, do i have to end the sold item or does ebay

After my item sells, I find that it is not removed.

What am I doing wrong?

What do you mean "not removed"? Is it visible in search/in your store? Or is it simply visible on your "Active Listings" page in Seller Hub?

I have "Out of Stock" Listings enabled. When my listing sells, it is active with ZERO quantity, hidden from the public/search but remains in my active listings page.

That is an account setting I believe under selling preferences.

If not that, then I have no idea what you're talking about 🤪

@velvetnurse  The sold item drops out of your listings at roughly 90 days.

Do you have the OOS (out of stock) option turned on?

Check your Site Preferences for you Inventory.  There is a setting that will allow sold out listing to stay active.  You can see them but buyers can't when they search your store or Ebay.  This is handy for sellers that bring more inventory in, so the balance on a listing may not remain zero for long.
