a buyer is requesting a Return, the Order was for 2 items at the same time, but they're only requesting return for one as "Bought by my daughter without my authorization"... I usually don't accept returns (of course except for INAD) , should i accept, I'm scared of being scammed
(high $$ value item), any advice? … also, Ebay is saying I’m mot obligated to accept! So what will happen if i refuse?

you really need to take back anything the buyer wants to return..say YES to the return
you should also lookup keyword spamming..you cant have barbie doll in the title if you are selling a copy or a one of a kind item not sold by Barbie

You are NOT obligated to accept the return. I have declined many remorse return requests, 99% of the time with no issues. The main negative things that CAN happen are bad FB & a chargeback request. It has been erroneously stated they can file a SNAD. Not true. They cannot file a SNAD AFTER they already opened a remorse return, they are not allowed to double dip that way. If they leave bad FB, you may be able to get it removed b/c they are asking for something not in the listing (a return), but there are no guarantees.
For me, when I've politely declined remorse requests citing my no returns policy, 99% of the time, nothing happens & I am very polite about it & a lot of times, I get notes saying things like 'oops, didn't notice you were no returns, sorry', etc. I've also had a number of those customers purchase again. You know your buyers though, mine tend to be honest & polite.

If they were going to be dishonest and send you an empty box, they would likely have opened a not as described return, not a buyers remorse one
