I have 6 different colors of one item with a total of about 40 items. I want to let the buyer pick the color or colors they want but I would like them to buy them in lots of 3 at a cost of say 1.00 each. I have my listing started with the 6 different color variations already identified with the quantity of each and the price of one. I do not see anywhere the option to sell these as a "lot" of 3. I saw it on other listings but not this one. Can someone guide me in the right direction to get this listed?
Create six different fixed price listings, one for each set of three. You could also offer combinations of color lots with three different colors per lot.
Sometimes trying to use drop down menus isn't worth the effort.
What you want to do isn't possible. You can't list singles and force a purchase of 3 mix and match. You'd have to either list as singles- or list as lots of 3 with predetermined colors in each lot.
