Hi everyone, I posted my auction then after one bid I tried to add info to the description. After filling in the add to description box I clicked the update listing button. An error saying that I cant change the return policy comes up ( I didn't change that) and it won't let me complete the update. I even cleared cookies and cache, signed back in, went back to the revision page. Once there I did nothing and again clicked update listing and resulted in the same error. I need to add to this but not sure how?????

There are only certain things you can change when you have a bid.

That "oops, something went wrong" message has been appearing frequently for a couple of weeks, when attempting listings, purchases, edits, adding pix, etc. I successfully added to the description of an auction in-progress about a month ago, but these days...there's no way to predict what may set off that error message.
Try changing browsers. I have NO idea what the programmer types at eBay are doing, but I use the latest versions of Firefox, Chrome and Edge, and some functions will generate an error message in one browser, but not the others. If that doesn't help, you may have to call CS. And just my two cents, but if it's something that *might* make a difference to your current bidders' interest in purchasing, I'd message them the info pronto. Good luck!

Looks to me like you have done everything correctly and it`s another ebay glitch. As Emerald posted above, we have always been able to add to live auction descriptions before(even if the item had bids). Yesterday I couldn`t add items to my watch list. I tried 2 clean browsers. This site has more bugs than an ant farm.
