I've bought an item for the first time from the USA via GSP. I live in Belgium, Europe. The tracking link worked just fine up until the departure from the KY shipping center in Erlanger, but from there on it tells me that the shipment has been sent to Interpost for international delivery. It then provides some number starting with "# LPKEN..." which links to www.trackyourparcel.eu.
The site is a joke. Two fields, asking for an order reference and ZIP code. No additional instructions, no contact information...
I've tried just about every possible combination I could think of. The number from the link, with the hash symbol, without, only the numeric portion... The original tracking number for the US shipping. The eBay transaction number. The ZIP code for delivery, with and without a "BE" prefix for Belgium, with and without city name behind it (who knows, maybe they copied the line verbatim from eBay)...
The only thing this site ever spits back in my face is "combination not found".
The item was shipped for international delivery yesterday. Do I just need to wait it out and see if it comes up on that site, or is there some magic combination that I must input to get my parcel status? Or, does it simply not work?
I don't even know who is responsible for that site. Is it eBay? Pitney Bowes? Some carrier I don't know of? I have no idea who I may even contact for info.
The GSP draws enough criticism from sellers as it is, but as a buyer it seems you're left out in the cold even more. If this service is to be taken seriously by the people who will drive it (i.e. international buyers) you're gonna have to do better than this. If the listing says "international tracking included", then I expect international tracking. Not just for some part of the trajectory, or depending on the whims of some web service that for all I know may not even call anything on the back-end.
I realize there's two other discussions on these boards regarding Trackyourparcel.eu, but this needs to be brought to attention.

Hi all. Apologies for the late reply on this thread. The trackyourparcel site came up on a different thread, so I thought I would search the message boards for other discussions including same.
Here is the info I posted on the other thread --
Well, I had to do some digging on this one. In part because I had never heard of that particular tracking site.
This particular site is not performing the way we want it to, and it is an issue we are working on (see bottom portion of quote, below).
Not exactly a super helpful answer there, I know. If there are specific transactions where tracking info seems to be missing customers can always try GSP-specific Customer Service* or send me a Private Message.
Here is the reply I received, regarding trackyourparcel.eu:
++++++++++
This is a known issue. The link just refers the member to www.trackyourparcel.eu. The user should be able to view the tracking data for their order through that site by entering the reference number they see in the tracking overlay and the postal code of the buyer's international shipping address the buyer provided in Checkout.
If the user cannot access their tracking data after entering the correct information, we need to get more info from the member to troubleshoot (Item ID of the listing they purchased, their eBay User ID, and the postal code they are entering).
Lastly, we are trying to get this corrected such that the link in the tracking overlay can take the user directly to the tracking data for their order on the www.trackyourparcel.eu site, but there are some difficulties building the URL to do that. We are working on it though.

*Here is the GSP-specific contact info for eBay and PB:
For Pitney Bowes customer service regarding GSP issues, you can email PBISGSPCS@pb.com to reach the GSP Customer Service group. Or you can call 1-866-235-9627, and press 1 to reach the same GSP Customer Service group.
To reach GSP customer service on the eBay side, call eBay Customer Service ( 1-866-540-3229 [ or ] 1-866-643-1587 ) and request to speak with a GSP Specialist. If the CS person on the line cannot help they can transfer you to someone who can. Hours of operation: Monday - Sunday, 6:00am - 11:00pm Mountain Time.

Just keep track of your deadline to file an Item Not Received claim.
It looks like eBay Money Back Guarantee deadlines are the same for the US and UK site -- 30 days from the latest estimated delivery date stated in the Order Details page. On PayPal, it's 45 days.

If you want to go somewhere for a day or two it might be nice to know in advance if you have to stay at home to accept your package.
Or the item makes it possible to go do something and you want to plan ahead. In My case I`m going to rebuild something I have and something i am waiting for, and am unpationt to place an order for some parts on sale, unable to know what i need before my package arrive. ( Order what i know i need or wait for my package so I can order all parts I need)
I`m sure there are other situations to that it would be an advantage to know aprox where Your package is so you can estimate aprox time of arrival.

If you're trying to buy a time-sensitive item, buying it online generally isn't the way to do it.

Actually this is to anyone who is able to provide information.
My package is in transit for a while now (2 weeks have passed since i purchased my item via paypal). It took just over a week for it to travel across the US to eventually get sent from the shipping centre in KY for its international destination. I also had no updates at all for about 4 days, then finally the message that "this post has been transferred to InterPost for delivery to the final destination'' and the status ''In Transit with Destination Carrier"
Since this update, over the last 3 days the status on the ebay tracking page has be updated 5 times, each time saying "In Transit with Destination Carrier" (No information about place, just date and time). Over this 3 day span i have been checking the trackyourparcel.eu site (using the ABC###### number has worked for me), and the information has remained the same the whole time (even though there has been 5 updates on ebay during the last 3 days), and the information posted is.....
Your order no : LPKEN000000######## | Your tracking no : 05########
In Transit | ||||||||||
Shipment dates | Destination
Shipping date : 10/06/2014 Status date : 12/06/2014 23:50 | me my adress ######

Your parcel has been forwarded to the hub in Amsterdam Netherlands (HUB AMS).
This message showed up 3 days ago, and has not changed. Does this mean that the package is this whole time in the HUB in the netherlands????
or is it simply moving across europe to get to me in Poland??
Does anyone know of the a way to contact the HUB in amsterdam directly to find out what the hell is going on?
And before anyone decides to rip my head-off for wanting to figure out where my parcel is, i am away on business often, and I need to ask a friend to be at my place while I am away to be able to receive the parcel, he too has a life and a family, and cannot simply camp out at my place endlessly while i am away (the polish post is not very reliable with parcels if they are not received on the first delivery, they can go missing, or be treated very roughly during the storage after a delivery attempt).
If anyone could give me any information regarding any of this, it would be a great help.
Thank you in advance,
Ciao

Hello Tommybot, I can fully empathise with your predicament, I too am waiting for a delivery from the useless GSP.
A way of keeping tabs on delivery is to forget the Citipost/13ten nonsense, as their sites don't work. Just click onto
your own ebay purchases, after your parcel has left Erlanger KY, it is in overseas transit, give it 4-5 days and a new
shipping number will be allocated to you for the inland shipper in your respective country, click on this and it will give
a more detailed account of your parcels whereabouts, once it is in the hands of a courier, it will be in yours that same day. Hope this
is of some help.

I have the same problem as you... I can't contact them. the only status is: "Your parcel has been forwarded to the hub in Madrid Spain (HUB MAD)."
will this status change?

Hey, It will be really helpful if you told me that how many days did it take to arrive at your home? I also live in Portugal (Faro).
The status of my parcel is: "Your parcel has been forwarded to the hub in Madrid Spain (HUB MAD)."
will the status change? and how many days will it take?
obrigado 🙂

Hello
in regards to this "EBAY Global shipping"... it SUCKS !!!
Tracking your item is really impossible to do.. they give tracking numbers that no post office or shipper can reconize.
I need tracking to make sure someone is at home to receive the item...
I paid for an expensive service and I want it!!!
This system will only hurt sale from the USA, not help...
I have also noted that they sometimes charge "custom" fees when such fees are not applicable!!!
Come on EBAY! dont just think about making money... take care of your cusstomers!!!!

Dommage!

I got the problem.
I also order something from US & also get the message, YOUR PACKAGE IS SEND TO "HUB IN AMSTERDAM".
But the information is after 3 days still the same & there's nothing I can find about HUB in AMSTERDAM.
I never heard of "HUB in AMSTERDAM".
And I also like to contact this carrier, because I wanna know when my package is coming.
This HUB in AMSTERDAM is a strange thing & I start to think "WILL THEY EVER DELIVER THE PACKAGES THEY RECEIVE".
Because I read so much about them on this message board.
And I don't trust it.
