time ending soonest

Hello

my e bay lists when they are about to finish are not shown only if you press time ending soonest
but other lists of other sellers are seen without pressing that button
I think I lose customers like that
Could you tell me why?

Hi @cristian3_6

To see what others might see on your own listings is a difficult undertaking. The Search order eBay uses is dependent on unknown as well as known variables.

Are you logging out and searching for your listings as a guest account? Even looking for your sort order in this way will still return results based on many factors. What each person sees depends on their previous view history, among other things, and eBay’s mysterious algorithm. So what you see will not be what i will see nor what a third person will see.

To answer your question, how do you get your listings to appear to folks searching for Junk Drawers without them specifying Ending Soonest? The only way to get your listings to the top of Search is to 1) follow eBay’s Best Practices, 2) utilize Search Engine Optimization in your listings, 3) use Promoted Listings and 4) Cross your fingers and hope for the best.

Ultimately it is eBay’s choice where your listings are shown and out of your hands.

I see 11 active listings.  I'm on the West coast.  How many listings are you currently running?

How do you know that "other sellers don't"?

I still don't understand how you are seeing what you think other members are seeing.  That can be vastly different.

The Best Match return is completely dependent upon how Ebay's search algorithm ranks a listing.

If a member changes their search return to Ending Soonest, then it should show the listings in order of which listing ends the soonest for whatever they have put into the search box.

The two types of searches will give you vastly different lists of items available.

We all have the ability to sort our search returns by a few different choices.  Each choice will arrange the search return in a different order.

Best Match

Time Ending Soonest

Time Newly Listed

Price + Shipping Lowest First

Price + Shipping Highest First

Distance Nearest First

Are you referring to sponsored listings that are mixed in time ending listings?
You are #1 under best match and #3 time ending mixed in with the others.
eBay determines placement based on whatever they want to base it on.

Everyone has options. Just be sure the best option is right for you.

I can say with certainty that I don't understand what you feel the issue is.  You can't control which sort return a buyer may use.  That is completely up to the buyer.  It would make no sense if your listings were visible in best match and ending soonest but not any of the other sorts.  Somehow we are failing to communicate here and I'm not sure why.
