Did you mean:

the good, the bad, and perhaps the ugly

It's a good day because I do not need to venture out to the mailbox in the snow.

It's a bad day because that means that I did not sell anything.

Today a buyer shipped an "auto approved" remorse return stating not needed, as they had "repaired" theirs.  Seems to be an "honest" return. After all, a scammer would just claim INAD to avoid paying shipping in both directions.

After the return is back it will be determined if theirs was "repaired" with parts from the purchased item. It could get ugly

Just posting. No sales. No packing up of merchandise. No walk to the mailbox. Just sitting here with tales of scammers dancing in my head. Don't really need any guidance.

To go along with the return, this week I also got an INR. That should go OK for me. Tracking shows delivery scan. (buyer knew that)  I did message with a photo copy of the "online shipping record" showing shipping to the provided address, and suggested they check with their PO for the GPS location of delivery.

Roadside mailbox. 28" long Priority package would have been sticking out if placed in the box. Easier than a "porch grab" for the pirates. "Drive by" with no need to even get out of the vehicle.

I suppose it is still a "ding" for my account in the eyes of eBay. I feel bad for buyers in these situations. Even if eBay does a courtesy refund they do not have the item that they wanted.

It's been a slower sales week for me than usual, but had some nice big dollar sales in there, so that part is good.

Post offices are closed on Monday for MLK so you can enjoy an extended stay inside with your cocoa instead of trudging through the snow to your mailbox.

Walk without rhythm, it won't attract the worm.

The last 2 days have been epically slow for me.  Yesterday was the first time with zero sales in many months.

I actually have sales and prefer not to. I need a canoe to get outside. I usually drive a motorcycle. I live in San Francisco. Whatever happened to the song "it never rains in California". I see a day of no rain beginning Tuesday. Be lucky you don't live in California. For anyone getting stuff from California expect delays...it is still awful out here. At Least we had no hail today...yet

Re: the good, the bad, and perhaps the ugly

Well, I did make a trip out to collect the incoming mail, and went ahead, and made 4-5 walks to the wood shed to restock the deck box. Then it was cocoa time.

Have sales today, and will get them out tomorrow. I can wait till Tuesday with my handling time, but will get them out. 42 degrees in the cellar packing.

Good news for that INR buyer.  family member grabbed it for them, and forgot to tell them. (2 days since delivery)

Hi!

I am so glad I read your post, I forgot about Monday no mail. I wish my sales would slow down. Had a ct-scan Thursday & think I cracked a rib while doing it. I now am hoping Promt care will be open Monday. 26 here just cold. I feel so sorry for all of you with the horrible times you are going through, rain, snow, sub zero, ect..

Do you ship to PO boxes? A lot of sellers don't, for some reason. My mailbox is a mile away down a dirt road, on a busy two-lane, and package theft is a real problem.

I only order from sellers who will ship to my PO box, for security. Which cuts out a LOT of sellers of electronics.
