Re: service metrics did not roll over on the 20th jan

Mine says the period ends December 2024.  That tells me that the January 20th eval happened.  Because the eval each month is for the period ended the previous month, in this case December.

@payless-auto-parts what date are you seeing on your Service Metric's page?

Negatives are your feedback and that has nothing to do with the eval that happens on all sellers on the 20th of each month.

Your negative will roll off once it turns a year old.

On Jan 20th 2025, you should be evaluated for the period from Jan 1st 2024 to Dec 31st 2024.

Are you saying you had an item from prior to Jan 1st 2024 that is still being counted on your Jan 20th evaluation? If so, what is the date of the item that was still included?

In that case:

Are you saying you had an item from prior to Oct 1st 2024 that is still being counted on your Jan 20th evaluation? If so, what is the date of the item that was still included?

Off-topic, because feedback is not part of service metrics, but to address your issue:

According to marketplace research, that listing was sold on Jan 21, 2024. Feedback can be left for up to 60 days from the delivery date, estimated or actual, whichever comes first. So feedback could have been left as much as 9+ weeks after the sale. The feedback is removed (from feedback calculations) one year after it was left.

To avoid  confusion on Jan 20, 2024 sellers are evalauated for the month of  Decemeber  from the 1st  thru the 31st.  Yes it will  now  show all the acticity  from  Jan 1 2024 thru  Dec 31, 2024 or 12  monthly evaluations

That doesn't change anything for you.  It is as I previously stated, the eval we all get on the 20th of every month is for the period ending the PREVIOUS month.

You are confusing WHEN your next eval is with what the Eval PERIOD is.

Re: service metrics did not roll over on the 20th jan

really?? why does it say then that current period is dec24? should be jan25 since the evaluation was on jan 20th

Re: service metrics did not roll over on the 20th jan

If the item in question is from Oct 22:

Your last evaluation was on Jan 20th, and it covered the period from Oct 1, 2024 to Dec 31, 2024. Therefore eBay is correctly including the item from Oct 22.

Your next evaluation will be on Feb 20th, and it will cover the period from Nov 1, 2024 to Jan 31, 2025. That evaluation will not include the item from Oct 22.

So if the item in question is from Oct 22, the issue you have is not with eBay's evaluation, but rather with your understanding of how evaluations work.
