Well, don't you have a big heart? What you described would not be totally out of bounds... with no commission involved, you'd not get in trouble. If you cancelled (truthfully) citing 'Out of stock', your selling account has suffered a ding already. It's up to you if you feel like investing more. Good luck either way.
