I list my 1st item on ebay. please advice how my improve my sellings on ebay. Thank you.

Ebay is saturated with coconut items, especially from Sri Lanka.  Most do not sell.

Perhaps you should sell other things like arts, crafts, fabrics, spices, hand made items, etc.  Those seem to sell a bit better.  

Don't invest in coconut items.  They're a waste of time in most cases.  Plus many other countries have their own coconuts.  They can pick them up right off the ground in many cases.

List an item every day. 
Make sure it's the cheapest (considering the quality).
Type up good, accurate, informative listings.
Take lots of pics.
Offer free shipping (just raise the asking price accordingly.
AND THEN.....it gets tricky from there

You need to follow ebay policy and use the correct item location. It is a policy violation if that is incorrect.

If it ships from China the the item location is not Sri Lanka.
