I want to sell my items on eBay but I have not created a business account. Can I continue my marketing with this account?

You do not need a business account to sell on e-Bay.  You need to create a Seller account and have a way to collect payments.  Are you all set up and ready to go?  What type of items are you wishing to sell on e-Bay?

According to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, it appears that people in Sri Lanka need to register as a business first, in order to be able to receive payments in foreign currency, to their BFCA (Business Foreign Currency Account). Then, you need to register for eBay managed payments, and you will need to have (or create) a Payoneer account when you do that. Your bank account, Payoneer account and eBay account all need to match, so if your bank account is a business account, your Payoneer and eBay accounts have to be business accounts too, and your name and address have to be spelled exactly the same.  Payoneer will verify your identification documents, which may take a few days, or a few weeks.

For sellers in Sri Lanka, Managed Payments will be able to deposit your payments into your Payoneer account. Here's more information about managed payments for sellers outside the USA. Sellers from Sri Lanka have to register as a business with your government if you want to participate in commerce and exchange money.  There is a fee to register and you have to set up a way to pay ongoing taxes from your sales.   You are free to buy items without all the paperwork.
