Right - knowing ebay CS, they will probably give them a 10000 item, $1000000 selling limit .... provided they drop ship from china.

So, you're saying since I vacationed in Kathmandu last winter, I can't use a PayPal account registered in Nepal?

That's harsh . . . 😁

I don't know about that, but if you live in Sri Lanka, you can't use Pay Pal to receive payments.

Have a great day.

Yep.  And as soon as they're twigged to, their eBay accounts are closed.  (And they're dodging their own country's banking laws, too, as an aside.)

Re: selling

Ebay reps have stated that they have no policy on this.

It is between the member and Paypal.

You can probably use it (until PayPal figures it out) but just how do you intend to get your money OUT of that PayPal account?

Re: selling

SriLankans can buy using a PP balance, they just can't receive payments though PP.

From what little I understand their goverment's decision has something to do with supporting domestic businesses, although that seems backwards so I may be misunderstanding.

Re: selling

They have created PayPal accounts using another country's mail. However, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has stated that Sri Lanka will soon receive legal permission to create PayPal.

Re: selling

Due to the law in your country, Sri Lanka, there is nothing you can legally list or sell on eBay at this time.

Once Pay Pal finds out, they will freeze those accounts.

You can open a Pay Pal account, you just can't use it to receive money.

Have a great day.

Buyers know how they can pay, it's in every listing.

You guys from Sri Lanka can't accept payments through Pay Pal, so you can't sell here.

May make some sense, in a way, because every seller from that country drop-ships cheap junk from China (before their accounts are shut down, that is).

Re: selling

Hi venwith,

Now any country, who cannot use paypal, can use payoneer by providing valid documents they requested. Then you can link payoneer to ebay and do selling. No more restriction. But to know about  selling on ebay my advice is,  First register to ebay seller school, view more tutorials on youtube, then start.

Learn and practice! Good Luck!
