-Here is what matters, you have identified one of the account's issues.  You can fix that by either buying your labels through eBay (at a discount too by the way) and that will automatically upload tracking for you.  If you continue to buy at the counter you need to upload tracking as soon as you get back home.

-When you are at the Post office stand in line, have the clerk scan every package and leave with a receipt that verifies you got the items scanned in.

-Here's what has no effect:  100% Positive Feedback.

-Good luck on taking corrective measures and moving forward!!!!!!!

Re: seller level below average

If you get tracking on every order, make sure to enter the tracking within your handling time. Tis important to ship on time.

Whenever I have one that misses a scan, it drops off if the shipment is delivered on time, but I entered the tracking within my handling time.

Perhaps that is a TRS benefit?  Anyone?

"...and many(?) time post office doesn't scan or i dont put tracking in on time..."

Looks like you answered your own question......your feedback is irrelevant to that metric....

A) Stand in line and get the acceptance scan at the Post Office

B) Enter/Upload the tracking number immediately thereafter

unless you wanted to ask why they may have done this (in that case, go back to line 1).....

Re: seller level below average

It's absolutely critical to get an Acceptance Scan.  If you're PO has a APC kiosk, you can do it yourself.  It's not exactly the same as an Acceptance scan, but close enough.

Re: seller level below average

@sharistim1208

I don't agree with all of eBays policies and decisions.  I do understand and follow all of eBays policies. I have been a Top-Rated seller since I qualified years ago. In the beginning, on time shipping rules seemed a bit unjustified as I always shipped on time, but I got strikes because of USPS not scanning, weather issues, etc. For years now, I self-scan at the USPS Kiosks with 100% on-time shipping.

Currently, Feedback, does not have anything to do with how eBay determines your seller level.

Follow your seller dashboard and do what needs to be done to stay above average (hopefully beforehand). Try to list more of your fast selling items and make sure they are scanned (or self-scanned if you have access to a USPS Kiosk - Scan Prepaid Package). Good Luck!

Re: seller level below average

Feedback ratings are not considered when eBay decides whether you are below standard, above standard, or Top Rated Seller. (There is no rating of just "Standard".)     According to the basic Help page about seller performance evaluation, late shipping will affect eligibility for Top Rated Seller status, but won't put you into Below Standard.

As @mr_lincoln stated, purchasing your postage through eBay will automatically upload the tracking for you and save you money over USPS Office postage pricing. I would second this recommendation. You can print the label at home or scan the QR code and print at the Post Office.

Neither tracking nor late shipping will make you Below Standard.

There are only two things that put you below standard:

  • Cases closed without seller resolution
  • Transactions cancelled by the seller (ex. 'Out of stock')

Your Seller Hub will tell you exactly why you are Below Standard.

You need to come back and tell us exactly why you are below standard. Because post office scans are not the issue.

I third this recommendation to purchase your labels through ebay.

What is there not to like?

The convenience -or- the savings?

Re: seller level below average

Make sure they scan your packages.

Put your tracking info in, on time.

It not only prevents losing top rating, it covers your keister.  And its stuff many buyers want to know.

I tested this. Spoke to several post offices. Though the receipt on the kiosk says acceptance scan, it’s not a true acceptance scan.

When the main sort facility scans your package then the kiosk scan becomes valid at the time you scanned it and will show online.

If the package goes missing between your po and the main sort facility, you lose. The po does not recognize the kiosk as a valid scan.

It makes sense that it wouldn’t as scammers would quickly learn to insure a fake package, scan it in the kiosk and walk out with the package instead of depositing it. When the package is declared lost, they go back and collect their payday.  It’s a chain of possession sort of thing.

I always have my po scan my packages. One po near me won’t give a receipt but they will scan them in.  They didn’t used to until I had a talk with the postmaster and explained the kiosk problem. They then started scanning them in again.

And they list me as below average after 20yrs of selling.  no negatives nothing late.  They praise me and give me bages and compliments but I ask anyone to look at my average and tell me  why im= would be  restricted and below average?  A COMPLETE INJUSTICE WITHOUT A JURY. Nothing i can do about it at all.. i never begged for anything in my life , But EBay would not listen or raise my limits. A prison with no jury. I hate it now and sell elsewhere becasue of the AI computer metrics rule and say im a bad boy. Now they will ban me for speaking. Bye.

It's not your feedback that determines your seller rating it's your performance metrics which you can find in seller hub. All of the following should be at 0 except tracking uploaded on time and validated which of course should be at 100%. If you wish to post a screen shot of your metrics some may be able to provide you with an idea of where your issues may be.
