I read a lot of threads about search issues and I agree that searching an item has gotten harder. I key in a title and completely different items will be shown to me. I have also been noticing that this begins with listing an item. I was creating a listing for a Bowling Green Christmas Ornament and this picture shows what eBay told me matched my title. Come on! No, not even close...and this is just one example of many I have seen lately. Anyone else noticing this too?

Regular search is just as stupid if not more so.
Better half and I were talking about that at dinner........we do alot of searching, researching......and really don't have much of a problem finding stuff...... Sure it may not show up at once....usually because we misspelled or didn't find the right keywords....the first time....... Not to say there aren't problems, I'm vocal about the ebay category choice problem......but for us, it's no worse than trying to search on Google.......

One of us must be in a Beta test, then. I can't tell you how many times I found what I looked for on eBay in vain on Google- as a link back to eBay, with all my keywords that seem to be powerless on eBay right in the title.

I always find what I'm looking for on eBay*, but I look for really specific items, use the quotation marks and minus signs, etc., never (well, rarely) use any kind of category.
Amazon's search, on the other hand? Wow. The other day I searched for a specific brand of tea and got things like a can of tuna in the search results. It's REALLY bad.
*Certainly not denying or diminishing your eBay search experience.
