sales

I have store with over 850 good items.. One item has sold in over 90 days. I have been a member for over 17 years. I depend on this income. I receive SS period. I have had open heart surgery and a few others. I am not looking for a hand out just for items to sell so I can acquire groceries and pay bills. I am always getting fee subtractions,I need help.

Re: sales

I believe there is a buyer for every item but some items are going to stay up for a while.

Re: sales

We all have nonthly bills and they have to be paid on time. This last winter months the electric alone was 2500. For the most part it is month to month and you can fall behind.

Re: sales

"Best Offer" items-receive the offers-either accept the best offer or Adjust your prices.

Re: sales

Some items you can do that but it depends on what you acquired the item for. This is a business

Re: sales

As many others posting this type of post you are in the category that definitely has slow times, Collectibles, Antiques, etc.  And high priced rare items.  The buyer market for this is fairly narrow.  Sorry about your health and lack of sales.  Make sure to give good offers if possible, maybe even run a coupon

What?  I don't know too many sellers that can do that kind of sale.  How often do you run a half off sale?

Once a year...

Either you have a huge mark up or you don't mind losing money.  It is one way or the other.  Of course your choice, but not something most sellers would choose.

I like moving out old inventory and starting fresh each year

I know that. My eBay store is my complete source of income. I am also a licensed dealer for 3 different companies.

Re: sales

Pickapaper has no facts and is out of touch with the statements made. I will set them right. ryalfarms is the name and just a name after my 2 sons Ryan and Alex. I do not own a farm. I have been a collector for many years and acquired these item at yard sales estate sales and such for a cheap price-right place right time. I have been devoted to buying and selling on Ebay and Ebay alone-some call it loyalty but devoted. All items are "Best Offer" and offers within reason are accepted. I was born in 1957 and love the car-do not own one as mentioned. I use the sale of items to pay bills and things are slow or at a stand still. I thought reaching out to other sellers to find out where they are at with theirs I would get good useful information. This type of information that is being spit out is lies and completely wrong. I expected some negative stuff but not stuff to wreck someones reputation.

But if it's true as the OP states and he really needs the money to survive, sometimes it's better to get 50% of something than 100% of nothing.

If 50% offers are accepted, why not just reduce the prices to that amount?

Re: sales

Etsy seems to think ‘25% Off Sale’ is the magic number.  You could start there:  Everything on sale at 25% off for 30 days.

(Some people don’t know how, or are uncomfortable sending offers, not sure they should, etc)
