I thought it would be cool to get a notification on the phone when I made a sale on ebay (also Amazon). Unfortunately the notifications are really loud and I do not know how to change the volume. I am not very smart about my smart phone (Droid). I found where to set the volume for the ring tone and "notifications" but that's just when I get texts.
Even worse, I forget how I got the notications in the first place! Does anyone have experience with this, ideally with a Droid?

I do not do a lot with the eBay app but I went to look just now and it appears you would go to the drop down (top left) and scroll down to settings then notifications and then reviews all the different adjustments in that area.
Good Luck Selling!

thank you. I did go into the app and found where to set the notification tone. I checked several and most were way too loud. I found one with a gentle sound so that may help.
Now I just need sales to get notifications for!

Adjust your volume.

I can't find how to do that on either the phone or app. I could adjust the volume on the phone for ringtone and text messages and that's it.

The regular ring tone on my droid and the ebay notification sound coincide as far as loudness

Thank you, that seems to be the case with mine. Just now I accepted a Best Offer and the notification went off. Could barely hear it in the next room, versus being blasted out of my chair. Actually, I didn't mind it much but my family members got tired of it.

It's an old Droid. You can adjust the sound for the ringtone and "notifications" but that only refers to the sound for texts. As another person said here, the sound for the ebay notification is as loud as the ring tone but it feels louder because it's kind of obnoxious.
