revision problem

I cancelled a bid so that I could add the buy it now option but my listing won't let me. any ideas

The revision rules apply even if the bid is canceled or retracted.  The only way to revise the listing is to end it and relist. You might be charged  a final value fee based on the high bid showing when you canceled the bid(s).
