A buyer purchased a linen men's lily pulitzer long shirt from me.   he receives the shirt and insist the sleeves have been altered..... I did not alter the sleeves... I asked several times to please send me pictures showing the inside of sleeves where they have been altered.... Never got them... just pictures of this shirt hanging next to another shirt showing differnce in sleeve lenth

Of course, ebay allows him a return.... 

how can you contact ebay

Buyer is under no obligation to show you additional pictures.

 

You can ask and they can ignore or deny.

 

Cs will just tell you to accept the return.

Why do you want to contact ebay?

There is no need to contact ebay.

Have your customer start a return.

Accept the return.

Pay for a return shipping label.

When you get the shirt back, refund the buyer.

If you try to contest/fight this, you will lose.

Ebay will refund the buyer with your money and he can keep the shirt.

eBay doesn't decide case by case.  There is no need to contact eBay.  If the buyer claims not as described they don't  have to prove their claim.  eBay sides with the buyer. You get your shirt back and they get their money back.

Maybe the guy doesn't like the shirt. You are a 'no returns' seller. He has to force the return, so he's doing it that way.

 

Just process the return - eBay doesn't get involved in the he said/she said because they have not got the shirt in their hands. If you stall and allow them to "step in" they will simply refund your buyer, they keep the shirt and you get a big black mark.

 

So please take the advice offered above - you can inspect the shirt when you get it back, list it and sell it to someone else.

There is no court which decides these claims. Buyer opens a request for return based on not as described. You authorize the return or refund without return or reach an accommodation with the buyer.

 

It is all automated. There are no experts who are going to examine the items and testify.

 

If you have sold close to 5k items without experiencing a claim like this, you are either very good or very lucky

Looks like the Palm Beach style has shorter sleeves.  Too bad AI didn't catch that when they wrote your description.  AI insists the sleeves are long.
