Hi looking for advice or suggestion
Just received my first neutral feedback ever . It came out of no where, and was unaware that there was an issue until I saw the neutral feedback.
My question is that I want to respond to it in a positive manner. Just looking for suggestions or ideas what a good positive response would be. Please just click on my name/feedback and can see the neutral feedback
I have not contacted buyer about this issue he implied
Thanks

Did you make any suggestion to the buyer that you would refund if he would open an NAD case and return the item?

I got a Neutral recently that said " Thanks ". I just ignored it, don't want to open a can of worms.

Let it be. It only draws more attention if you answer.

Neuts usually are no big deal, but because this is a condition issue, and condition is very important in your market, I would contact the buyer first. I personally would have wanted to know how I could disclose better.
PS: I see some faint yellowing in your photo and nothing looks 'bright white'.

I would be inclined to let it go, simply because of the price and that he really isn't that upset. If you respond at all, be very gentle. "Sorry that you weren't pleased, wish you would have contacted me so I could have helped."

I would take a neutral in exchange for $750 any day.
I can't come up with a reply that would not look like you are calling the buyer liar. Liar they may be but future possible buyers might not like that.
Into your life it will creep

I would not respond, but if you feel you have to, I would say something like this...
"Sorry, sometimes photos are not an accurate depiction of the actual item. Colors can often vary. If you are not happy with your purchase, please return for a full refund."

Had a few of these and some buyers just leave it because they can. Why as sellers can we not leave negative feedback for a buyer. I received neutral because there was a mix up with delivery. Not my fault but that of the courier. They even said how great the item was.

I actually dont care anymore as no matter how hard you try or how much you do you will never please all if the people all of the time. I have negative feedback for things totally out of my control. Given up worrying about it.

@wildduck24 asked:
“Why as sellers can we not leave negative feedback for a buyer...”
In a nutshell—
Because it is bad for business to name and shame customers. Because when it was allowed, subpar performers would use bad feedback as method for retaliation.
Back in the day when one’s reputation needed to be established on eBay, there were no protections for buyers and sellers. The eBay community provided a framework to grow one’s name or brand so that they could prove their qualities.
But times change. With the growth of technology, there are now checks and balances in place to protect trading partners.

I just got my first neutral feedback, and the buyer only left a “👍”. Probably not worth it to reply
