Once again the millennials that run the IT department have scored a direct hit.. have navigated to this page to see if other long time EBAYers with really strong satisfaction are getting screwed with "Managed Payouts(sic)". I had hoped to find out how much interest that the management team is socking away. Unfortunately the software will not allow me to A: open up a comment to read all of it and B: I can not upvote a good comment.. I see that the management practice of reworking a good working system is still the norm.. These folks even made a disclaimer (cannot find it now) - "No EBAY does not earn any interest on the huge amount of money that they hold and hold and hold..

Managed Payments seem to be working pretty good for me. Most sellers on here have at least accepted it begrudgingly with no choice in the matter to happily using it. I'm somewhere towards the center but a bit more to the right of happily using it.
I've been upvoting comments for 3 hours now. Comments open fine.
I haven't seen the disclaimer. Please supply a link to it when/if you find it.

Looks like until your recent sales, you havent sold anything for six months. That makes you an infrequent seller, and of course your funds will be held. Not by Ebay, by Adyen.

There are some pretty simple calculations - making some basic assumptions - that you can run regarding the interest that eBay or Adyen can feasibly earn via holding back payments. Basically, it is a trivial amount.

Don't judge me based on the really annoying tik tok and whatever trends. 1981 is considered millennial btw. Focus your strength on 1996(lol). It's funny how we are always annoyed at the youth that likes that darn rock and roll music. Forever will the last generation resent the next.

Here is one place where they state it:
Click on the Plus sign to the right of the question on that page to open up the answer. Actually I can do that for you right here: 'eBay does not earn interest on pending payments, payments scheduled for payout, or payments that are in the process of getting paid out.'

Isn't "upvoting" a Reddit thing and is nowhere on this ebay forum?

Not sure where you are at that you are having such difficulties.
Pretty much the only posts that I can not "upvote" are my own.

Its not called upvoting here but I assume the OP is referring to the Thumbs Up icon for collecting Kudos or Helpfuls or whatever they are calling them now.
There is no mechanism for down-voting a post (unfortunately) although you can remove your own Helpful vote from someones post if you change your mind later.

Are you thinking of posts on the Mentor board? They act a bit differently (not all can respond), but can be thumbed up.

Yeah. I caught that and was going to change it to meditate but then thought "Naaaahhhh. Let's see if anyone see it."
