"invalid file" error message when uploading video with new listing tool

I've tried to upload videos using the new listing tool.  I have tried several .mov videos that are all under 150MB, but each time I get an error message saying "invalid file".  I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and would appreciate any advice!

supported file types:

• MP4 file types- MPEG-4 Part 10 or Advanced Video Coding (MPEG-4 AVC)

Thank you!  For some reason I thought I read .mov files was one of the extensions, so I was stuck on that.  Once I figured out how to convert it to mp4 it uploaded right away.  Thank you for your help!

I have no skill to tell what type of file mine is, much less how to convert it to a different one.  Any How to convert vido files for Dummies out there?
