I just checked my payments status and they are blocked. Ans i have this message on top :

"Your payouts are blocked while we review your account. This is a routine process to keep your account safe and takes up to 6 business days to complete. We’ll email you if we need more info"

Ebay didn´t even sent me a message to explain this

Sounds like a banking issue. Are you the only person on the banking account? And the only person on the eBay account? And has there been any issues with your banking account or credit cards lately? Just a thought.

anyways...here in the States, this is becoming the "New Normal" with these "routine" verifications. I am not sure why the payouts are frozen during a review, but that's the procedure. They are required to do these checks regularly (or when an event pokes the bot) to comply with U.S. KYC (and other) laws.......

I wouldn't be concerned at this point if there are no abnormalities...

Answer any requests quickly and accurately....

(Yes, it has happened to me and it was over very quickly)

I use payoneer , its my personal account . I made some purchases today , nothing out of the ordinary , one of the purchases took like 10 minutes to process. I also have a return request from two weeks ago but already sent UPS label and i am waiting the buyer to return the item so i can process the refund . (buyer has until april 18 to send back the item..) Not sure if all this is related

I was told 5 days at first and then it turned into 6 days. Is your freezing process over?

I received the same message today on my sellers dashboard. Does anyone know why eBay does this and how long it takes to start payments again.

Are those of you who are non-US based sellers aware that Payoneer's US bank was/is SVB the "failed" bank all over the news recently? It was sold by the US goverment to FirstCitizens Bancshares another US behemoth bank when banks merge EVERYTHING is gone over. Maintaining a US bank account is EXPENSIVE and can sometimes be risky, the current payment processing system in place makes a bank account MANDATORY. Not so when paypal was handling the money. Is that what is causing your account to be "reviewed" ? IDK but it cant be helping. My point is this paypal was accurate fast, and fair when it came to chargebacks. Paypal was also a big part of why eBay WAS sucessfull. I know I miss paypal being the processor, that way the folks at eBay could concentrate on screwing up other areas of this once great company and LEAVE THE MONEY ALONE...

Yes it was remved the next morning . I sent a mail to customer care and they told me that they reviewed the account but found no problem so they lifted the payment restriction.
