"You’ve reached your limit" Selling Limit Issue - But I Haven't

Hi all,

I've contacted eBay already and submitted a ticket, however, is anyone else experiencing this issue? Any suggestions on how best to resolve this aside from contacting eBay every time I have this issue?

We cannot run our pricing API or revise listings because of this error. I've had this issue numerous times in the past, but they weren't critical at the time.

"To ensure success for our sellers and create a safe marketplace, eBay places various limits on accounts based on the average volume – either items or dollar amount - they sell.

You’ve reached your limit. If you’d like to sell more, call us to discuss the possibility of increasing your limit."

I am noticing a discrepancy on my items listed and sold. The actuals are 2M quantity on 60k listings with a total value on the quantity X listings equalling $470M.

30,488listed and sold / 4.1M limit on quantity of items

$7.2Mlisted and sold / $630.7M limit

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

If you have listings with a quantity of more than one item it will count towards your limit. If you end and relist listings in the same 30 days it will count towards your limit. Sold itms

You have 52,068 listings, each listing appears to have more than one item.  That explains why you've reached your limit.

Didn't think about that, everything we sell is BIN and definitely gets relisted after that 30-day period.

You can check the amount you have listed in your Active Listings page. Where it says Results The total $ and Qty Total are in parentheses.

Re: "You’ve reached your limit" Selling Limit Issue - But I Haven't

My original post showed my "results". 2M total quantity on 60k listings with a total value on the quantity X listings equalling $470M. We are below our limits still, even factoring in sales and any relisted items, the eBay rep confirmed that as well.

The other issue is a discrepancy shown for the limits, it's only showing 30,488 listed (we have 61k active) and the total value is also incorrect.

They mentioned others have reported the discrepancy as well.

I receive the same error and I am only trying to revise! I don't want to add another item.

When a seller desires to increase their selling limits, they are allowed to request an increase once every 30 days. Mark your calendar and every 30 days request an increase until you have your selling limit well above anything you think you will ever need. Below is a link to where you can go to ask for a selling limit increase. It is the third option in the link below.

@online_components

I will assume you have multiple quantity listings. Can you reduce the quantities on some of them which will reduce both your total  values and listing numbers.
