"You are obligated to ensure I receive the item, not just dropped off on my property"

Hey all... been MIA for almost a month on the boards mainly because I have a new kid. Still been working/selling behind the shadows from home... only to come back to a slew of business issues (MP, inventory, USPS delays, etc.) So it's bittersweet that I'm back (although not entirely back). Glad I have a bit of time to check the boards though.

Anyway, so anyone have tips to reply to this buyer (mentioned in the title)? Buyer claims INR (no INR filed yet)... classic tracking shows delivered. I use my usual "check with neighbors, local PO, etc" reply. Buyer replies with that gem shown above. Contemplating BBLing this guy but I haven't replied to him yet.

USPS shows it scanned delivered, as far as you are concerned it was delivered. Buyer needs to file a claim with their homeowners insurance if something was stolen from their property.

The PO is obligated to delivery the package, unless you want to take a vacation wherever this was delivered and do it yourself in person. LOL.

"Never question delivered tracking, that's what it's there for, if indeed there is a problem it's up to them to solve it, it's their mail not yours."

Had to reply to this...one point is correct.  It is their mail, if it goes amiss it is on the buyer to try to track it down.  BUT the seller can also assist in this.  I am in a VERY rural community and we have contract postal deliverers, many many packages and mail are placed in other peoples mail boxes, including credit card bills, magazines and packages ALL THE TIME.  Complaining does no good.  We just re-deliver.

If it is a high priced item the seller can also help by opening a lost item/package case with the USPS.  This shows good faith and sometimes helps, especially since there is GPS tracking now.  This is how an expensive piece of jewelry was found/recovered for me.  Yay.

Well that's just my point, the seller is not claiming it's lost, the buyer is, why investigate something you have no proof of happening ? Once again it is " their mail " not yours, I do not expect anyone but me to deal with my mail issues, GPS tracking is something they can easily do rather than get information from a seller second hand across the other side of the country.

Far to much hand holding, the only protection we still have is delivered tracking, I for one am not about to even begin to question it.
