"Sell a similar item" > Item description formatting changes by itself for no reason

here the description looks fine.

i click "sell a similar item", then i manually update some of the stuff in the description (because ebay is incapable of proper copy/pasting, this i learned in 20 years of selling), but the formatting goes berserk.

all bold, different types of bold, missing line breaks

i tried a different browser, same result.

if i show html code and delete all the <strongr> manually, then when i unclick and click it again, they come back.

the description field is completely broken.

this is ebay in 2025, can't even write a sentence without all sorts of things happening. 15% fee well spent.

any ideas?

Yeah, use of Bold is busted right now.  They are working on it.  There is another thread active on it currently.  Been going on over a day or two now.

Just remove Bold completely from the entire description to at least even out the format for now.   That was the only option I had for mine.
