"Buy All" option in a multiple item listing

Is there an easy way to add a "buy all" option in listings that have multiple items for sale?

I know I could always add a "variation" which says some to the effect of "Purchase Everything Listed in this Auction" (clumsy, but you get the drift), which I'm starting to do.  If I do that, how would I make the auction inactive, without deleting the listing when someone actually uses the "buy all" option?

Maybe someone knows of a easy way of accomplishing this.

Thanks for viewing

I'm confused. If you take an auction live, it includes all shown in the photos and descriptions, no?

It sounds like you want to create a variation listing like-

Variation A

Variation B

Variation C

Variation D = A, B, C bundle

You can't do that unless you have at least 2 each of A, B and C. One buyer could purchase A, B, C and D all at once. You need enough inventory to fill  that.

Your reasoning is to make it "easier"- it's really not hard to purchase multiple variations at once. If your reason was different- like a discount for the bundle- there are other ways to accomplish that like using promotions.

My reasoning is to offer close-out capabilities of auctions that have MANY variations.

i.e., picture a Cal Ripken listing that has over 200 items in a drop down list.  I'm trying to set up a option to buy the whole shebang at a substantial discount.

See the Cal Ripken example in message 4.

I have fully functioning auctions that range in selectable quantities anywhere from 2 to 240 items for sale.  I'd like to be able to offer a close-out option to take all of the items for a heavily discounted price - just to be done with them.

Thanks

The option you're looking for doesn't exist so you'd have to use an alternative method.

- Add text to the item description saying you're open to offers if someone wants to purchase the entire lot. If you get any takers you can set up a separate listing for them.

- Set up a promotion for that listing $$ off a purchase of $$$

- Use the out of stock option, zero out the quantity on your listing and set up a new listing for the lot and see if you have any interest. If not then you can end the bundle  listing and reinstate the quantities on the original listing.

FYI- the above poster was confused because "auction" typically refers to the auction format, but you're discussing fixed price listings.
