Yikes! Have you contacted the seller about this? If it has been less than 30 days since you received the original item & you haven't already, you need to file a return request in the resolution center. If its been longer than that, you'll have to file with paypal IF that is how you paid--and you have 180 days from the date of payment to do that. You may be required to return the charger which may be a problem. Credit card chargeback is also an option.

I within 30 days, file a not as described claim with ebay
If after 30 days, file with either paypal or your cc company....... If the charger can't be mailed back because of the fire, I'd mail back a copy of the fire report..........

Sorry to hear. I hope you realize that this is not customer service for ebay. It's a member to member board. If you cant settle with the seller, contact eBay through the contact link.
If they have opened a case for item not as described, and they can't settle with the seller, they ask Ebay to step in via the ask us to step in option that will show after a few days in the case. This will escalate the case to Ebay for resolution.
With all due respect, there is no need to contact Ebay through the contact link.
Procedure is to open the case, then escalate if no satisfaction, and that is how you contact Ebay.

Correct. I just was trying to point out to OP that this board is not manned by eBay reps. I noticed a few times that unsuspecting buyers think they are contacting ebay through the message board.

Oh, no offense! I understood that. And you are right, many times the OP thinks that are contacting CS when they are on this Board that consists of other members. It's just that a case should be opened, if communication with the seller has not proved to be satisfactory, and then if there is no resolution, the OP would escalate the case and that would serve as contacting Ebay.
