Got one of those promotions for 500 listings. This seems to happen almost every month at this time of the month. It's nice I guess but I never use up my 1000 "free" listings and don't run all that many auctions.  I would expect that many other sellers would have more need.

I got it too - I think because so many have pulled their items from Ebay or cross posting - their numbers are down. I've ended 16 items on Ebay that sold on other sites recently. This GTC is hurting them - tho they'll never admit it.

Social media site - you list for free. Other clothing sites - free or small listing fee and smaller FVF - at least the ones I use. Simpler listing format. No need for promotions. Better seller protection.

I shift book lots from the Store to auctions during a promotion (not single books), and add Best Offer. It's not the winningist gambit but sometimes shakes a few sales loose. I have deja vu that I said the same exact thing months ago.

I do this constantly. Occasionally sell things here and delete from elsewhere.

I don't know what they are thinking. I got the promo also, but right now I have 8,608 fixed price and 904 auctions left that I could list. I wish they would give it to someone that needs it to list more than usual.  Just not feeling any urges to list anything.

My pattern is that for a day or two I say "oh goodie" and list some things. Then I quickly get tired and stop.  Today I am listing 10 day auctions which I think will end next Thurs unless I'm off. On Thurs list some 7 day and 10 day [ending Sunday] auctions.  I do have stuff I need to get listed so a kick in the pants  helps, though saving 15 cents for an auction doesn't add to big savings, just that if they sell I will, well, sell something.

A little bummed here.   I usually get these on at least one of my IDs but didn't get anything.  I'm buying more now and could have used a promo.  I'm ending many older listings to make room for new stuff, but would prefer to leave them all up.

Wish I could share fern as I'd give you some as I have lots left of my 250!

I use to long for these promos so I could get everything listed. I'd go to sales and hurry home to do pictures and get the items right up. With the way sales have been - I have no ambition to list.

I've gotten super picky on what I'll take a chance on - what I'll pay - constantly thinking about what my actual profit is and what is any problems I might have with shipping. Walked into Savers and Goodwill ($1 Days) and walked out with nothing. Went to block and community sales - came home with 3 items. Went to SA today - again walked out with nothing. Ebay has really taken the fun out of selling and I'll be happy when the SS starts in July.

That's so nice of you to offer---wish I could.

Sorry your sales are still slow.  I can't brag about mine, but at least they aren't completing flat lining now.  I didn't think I'd be buying much, but I can't seem to help myself since sales have started in earnest around here.

I am passing up on some items that I would have bought in the past...especially larger items.

I'm looking forward to SS too!!

When I had sales on a regular basis I used to look forward to doing some listings. That has dried up to where I simply don't bother if there is anything else to do. Never really has been about how much money I made, just the sheer excitement of a sale. Now it is pure drudgery and I have so much inventory that I don't even want to go on treasure hunts anymore.  I am numb to changes and increased fees to the point of giving up.

I have ended so many listings due to selling them on other platforms. I also cross post, I know I shouldn't but I do it. I was very surprised when I actually had to end 8 items on another site because they sold on ebay instead, that seldom happens, that was last weekend. I don't use the promoted listings, i did a few times and not much happened from them and then when I did sell something that was promoted of course it was a high priced item so I got hit with regular FVF and then the promoted fee. It was so not worth it. I will list just like I do on other sites. It sells, it sells, if not then whatever. Not spending extra money for my listing to show up an extra time or two. If a person didn't want my listing the first time they looked at it, they are not going to want to buy it seeing it 5 listings down with the word sponsored. I think it annoys buyers so I stopped doing it. Tried it, and it sucks.
