BOYCOTTING EBAY??

I have been selling on ebay for sometime now, this is a first for me.....NO SALES since last  May 15....

Is ebay being boycotted for a good reason that I haven't heard about.

Yes there are things in carts...NO I am not lowering the price to make the sale.

I keep my prices low as it is...with the new shipping....not going any lower.

Anybody else seen NO Sale in a few days??

If I had to make a living off ebay...thanks to ebay...I would be dead in the water.

Where are sellers going to for better selling than ebay??

No offense - but with only a 165 listings in an oversaturated category - you are doing better than many clothing sellers. Your last sale was 4 days ago - we have sellers here who haven't had sales in over 3 weeks - so count your blessings you've had sales as they would be happy to get even one.

I make the same sales I always make - about one every other day or so.  I list across multiple sites and offer multiple options - BIN, best offer, auctions.  I still buy here because though there are other sites, many are US only, others are only for clothes, others only vintage or handcrafts, some are very particular about only high end designer stuff.  Many sellers have stuff that falls between the cracks of all those different sites and their specialties.

Have you compared your stuff with others of the same item? How do your prices compare? I get that you wont take "less than X" but if the buyers aren't buying at that price, you wont get the sale.  Also, are your items current/in style? And where are you getting them? I know of a seller who got stuff from a Sears being closed down for pennies but I don't hold up much hope of anybody wanted the stuff, even at a discount.

I can list 250 item....but when I do not have any sales I am not going to list 250 things to just sit there.
My sale have been down since last June....when you do almost $43,000 in sales one year and then the next year you only do not even half of the sale.....Please don't tell me that it's me....and the items that I sell....I call that **bleep**.

I've been selling here for 20 yrs and this is the worst month I've ever had!  There was even a 9 day gap between sales.  Totally unheard of for me.  Things are selling better this month on another site and I have the same OOAK things listed here.  I don't have an answer for you, but I doubt it has anything to do with boycotting.

This is the first non-holiday Monday I didn't need to make a trip to the post office in quite awhile.   And the strange thing is that I listed 27 new listings over my four accounts this weekend - relisting only 8 items - and few of the 35 listings had more than one view.  I don't know whether eBay is being boycotted or there are technical issues affecting at least some of us, but it is highly unusual for all four of my accounts to tank at the same time.

I never said it is you or what you sell. I sell clothing and have seen a decrease in sales but we are competing against sites like Poshmark, Mercari, Thredup, Tradesy, FB, Instagram and the list goes on. Each year we have more and more competition. 

Buyers are getting upset with Ebay with all the glitches. They are pushing more foreign sellers as their prices are lower - for substandard quality but people don't seem to care as fashion changes so frequently. You can call it what you want - but those are the facts and why I sell on multiple platforms and have branched out into hard goods to try and sustain sales here.

Every week, there are dozens of sellers who come here to ask about a sudden drop in sales.

This is clearly happening to some sellers, but it is clearly not happening to all sellers.

Another ebay bonus bucks offer started today, to help increase your sales.

EBay sometimes does listen & respond.

What's neat is a guy could make good sales in 2003 when the final value fees had a tiered structure..3.75% for a sale over $200.00 or close to that

Many small sellers who were also buyers have fled eBay for greener pastures due to eBay's new GOT YA FEE.
