I believe that was made by my aunt during her "Krazy Kiln," phase.

Photos #3 and 4 show a broken design, which makes me think it's an applied design on a mass-produced pot. Also the base looks machine molded rather than hand-thrown. It's nice, though, and reminds me of Mexican pieces.

   I believe you are spot on. Seems weird with broken design and what seems to be Mexican, Navajo and European (Shield) influences.

Good points.  I hadn't noticed the 'break' on pic 4, but I noticed it was such an odd mix of styles.   I was going to suggest the pottery & glass board, but it looks like that was absorbed into the Collectibles & Art board referenced above. 

 

I do collect pottery & studio pottery would typically have an artist's stamp or signature etched on the bottom or if it's raku, signed in metallic sharpie.
