When was the last time you saw Playboy magazine, in a convenience, truck stop, drug store, student union lobby (they did a WMU, Henry Hall, K'zoo) with lots of Dutch around that area), etc. along with all those other skin magazine. Yeah PB was POP in '64' my roommate and I decorated our dorm room with the fold out pics. At he end of our sophomore year we had a walls covered - Had to bring earlier mags from home or donations from other student donations. had to keep our door shut and locked on "Open House" events days. We graduated an still communicate several times/year

I was selling some Playboy magazines as a favor for my brother.... everything was fine until the past year.... Since the middle of last year until now I had been continually having my listings removed because they were in violation of underage minors posing in the magazines. As a result I removed ALL of my Playboy listings and do not plan to ever list them again.
What is really ridiculous is there is no definitive list of which issues are acceptable and which are not. Obviously, eBay has a list that they are not willing to share. How lame is that?

How lame is it that Playboy put photos of naked children in their magazine? eBay is just having to catch up with all the revelations as they come out, but Playboy could have done their due diligence to verify the ages of their models.

It is possible that the rep who advised you on the list may not have provided wholly accurate info. The phone reps are known to give out unreliable data at times. Sadly, some sellers who have followed such advice have ended up damaging their accounts. It's a serious issue and the result is i take anything a phone rep says with a grain of salt.

So sorry to disagree with you. The "naked children" you are referring to were young women, NOT children that lied about their age. So where are you at with Brooke Shields? Her mom supported every single nude she every did.

Call people under 18 whatever you want. Call minors groomed by their parents for money whatever you want. You know, free speech and all that. -Might want to get a VPN if you haven't already though.

Is that a threat?

The advantage of a somewhat advanced age is that I remember from first hand knowledge Tracy Lords (at 16 producing false documents claiming she was 18) doing a full nude very suggestive spread in Penthouse.
Eve Ionesco at 12-13 doing a similar full nude spread in Playboy at the pushing of her mother (in much the same way as Brooke Shields) although even more risque than Brooke’s.
In fact up until about 1996 or so “kiddie porn”wasn’t even illegal.
(No I'm not defending it only correcting the record)

Obviously? What leads you to that conclusion?
And perhaps more importantly, why do you think that you are deserving of having special access to what are eBay's evolving standards for such material on its website -- clearly a work in progress, as anyone with a rudimentary understanding of this issue realizes?
No offense, but I find your sense of entitlement to be an important impediment to you understanding what you are allowed and not allowed to sell here... and for accepting the reality of same.

From the morning I had, I have to assume that AI is interpreting the term "minor" as meaning a young person, when the term is being used to indicate a "small amount". It seems to be a waste of time to argue with AI, which doesn't believe it can be wrong.
It also assumes all comic books were written by Stan Lee or Alan Moore, and most rock albums contain songs by The Beatles or Elvis Presley.
