I'm always having problems with eBay photo edit tools. I don't normally use the "save for latter".
What I can tell you is that when I'm listing, if one or more of the edited photos is still in limbo (you don't see the photo just an empty box that is in prosses) when you list the item your photos will revert to the unedited version. This is so time consuming and frustrating. I wish ebay would fix the problems with their photo editing. As of lately I have also been getting this red warring "A mixture of Self Hosted and EPS pictures are not allowed", on photos that I edited with eBay's editor. When this happens I have to delete the RED Flagged photos and reload the exact same photos. UGH.
