Poly mailer via USPS First Class

I am shipping a scarf and selected USPS first class and bought poly mailers to use for light garments. I am trying to purchase label and only had option of USPS Ground Advantage which is considerably more. Help please!

Did eBay change their customer service hours? I am trying to contact them by phone and keep getting an automated response that I am calling outside of business hours. I was calling at 1:30 EST.

30% fees on most items sold?

All of my book item payouts come out as more than 30% in fees. I dont use free shipping or promotions. Here I get payed $2.76 on a $4.50 item. Thats almost 40% in fees. Am I making a mistake somewhere or is this normal.
