paypal payment date is different than ebays

Hi

I sold an item and ebay shows a payment date of 4/27, paypal shows 28th. My worry is that it will be recorded in ebay as a late shipment. The money never showed in my account until the 28th, so I don't see where ebay is getting this date of payment from.

Has this happened to anyone else before?

Just had one of those type things myself.

Item sold 9:37 PM 4/30.  eBay time

If I go to the listing is shows that it ended as 12:37 AM 4/30. Eastern time

I was in and out of the account several times yesterday (4/30) from 11AM to 11PM and that item was not sold at 12:37AM on 4/30

The item sold notice from eBay came in on the email account at 12:37 AM   5/1

The PayPal payment notice came in on the email account at 12:38 AM  5/1

A label has been printed. Tracking uploaded, and the package has been scanned 2PM eastern 5/1, so who knows how that will be looked at.   4/30 was a Sunday.

I know you have "4/30" as the date in both cases, but is it actually stated that way on-screen? eBay time is Pacific, three hours behind Eastern, so 9:37 PM on 4/30 eBay time is 12:37 AM Eastern time, the same moment in time, though the date in the Eastern zone would be May 1, not April 30.

My situation is a little different.

Ebay records indicate that the payment was received on the 27th (thursday). I did not receive payment until the 28th, a friday. Paypal recorded date of payment is the 28th.

I have a 1 day handling time. When payment is received on a friday, I have to ship by monday. I did this.

Ebay has the payment date as the 27th. I believe this is going to be considered a late shipment even though it is not.

I have never seen a difference in the ebay and paypal paid dates. If the funds were in my account on thursday I would have shipped on friday. It did not show up until friday night.
