OK - here you go

I live just south of Las Vegas which is smack dab in the middle of the desert. BUT just to the north of LV is Mount Charleston which rises to 11,000 feet. Much to the surprise of my New England relatives we get snow here too.

I don’t have a pic handy but I would trade with you anytime.  We just had a couple of weeks of -30 - -40c here in western Canada.

No snow here, just a Nor'easter that violently threw rain at the side of our house for 8 hours.

That is the kind of temps we are getting, only ours in the + column LOL Can't wait for February, our HOTTEST month!

Here you go. Looking out my bedroom window into my back yard. The small grey building it the vintage Outhouse and a screen room. Its 2 acres of pleasure. Population is 50 in the Winter and 5000 in Summer.

Right now its 25 degrees. 10AM Monday - 17th. Closest town of 2500 people is 17 miles one way.
