I was just reviewing the new fall seller updates,, there was a new link front and center on my home page, so I went and took a look.
guess what is no longer there!!!!!
there is no longer any mention of higher seller fees for not as described returns!!!!!!!... ebay must have actually listened and realized they can't hold sellers accountable for not as described if they don't give sellers a viable way to appeal and change faulty not as described returns!!..
there is still a fee increase for excessive item not received claims..
what do you all think?? Do you think ebay really listened and decided not to implement the increase for snad,, or am I am not seeing it??
crossing my fingers.

Where are you seeing this ? a link if possible........
I'm still see it in the Fall Seller Release
https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/seller-updates/2018-fall/service-metrics-and-shipping.html
and INR was/is extended delivery time.........no fee increase.
As a reminder, starting October 1, 2018, if you have very high rates of "item not as described" returns you may be subject to additional 4% final value fee in affected categories based on the Service Metrics policy. Maximum fee caps do not apply to the additional 4% final value fees. See our selling fees article for more information on how final value fees are calculated.
Starting November 1, 2018, if you have very high rates of "item not received" requests, you may be subject to extended delivery estimates in affected categories.

Well, if they changed it, the possible reasons could be anything from perhaps listening to sellers to deciding on something else to getting a note from 'legal' to a programming challange to a glitch to a ..... fill-in-the-blank. Yesterday WAS Thursday (maintainence day, wasn't it?).
