not getting notifications when offers are made on my items for sale

hey folks. new to the community board. just had two super  unproductive  conversations with ebay customer  service agents.  

I'm just realizing by looking at all my items for sale individually that I've been getting lots of  offers but haven't gotten notifications.  I get a notification once in a while, but looking at 15 of my items, I've seen about 25 offers that I never knew about. 

of course they've all expired and I lost about $2700 in sales.  I thought offers  would  show up in my ebay message (drop down menu under my ebay) and in the notifications icon (the bell icon), but they haven't  

anyone had this experience and what  can I do to fix my settings is that's the issue?  two customer service  reps  couldn't answer this question.

Are you depending on email? Don't. It's not reliable, and that's not just eBay.

After you make sure your notifications are enabled, put your eBay app on the home page of your phone and set your app notification to badges. That way you won't miss a thing.

thanks for your note and the question. No, i'm primarily looking at Messages in the My Ebay and the Notifications Bell in the upper  right hand  corner.

silly question, but how to I enable notifications? is  that  on the phone or within the ebay app itself. I have the app on my phone and  I'm always looking for the little red circle  on the app with the number  in it, showing the  number of notifications. 

i would guess that  I just missed them from time to time, but 25 times? I don't think so.

i just looked, i have notifications for  ebay on my phone, and the badges are turned on.

Do you send out offers to potential buyers?  If so, look at those expired offers and if the IDs are disguised, those are probably offers you sent out that.  If a buyer sends you an offer, you can see the ID.

The issues are not just on the seller's end.  They need to revamp the entire offers system.   Last week I found a notification in my email for an offer to buy at a reduced price without any way to complete said transaction.  There was no corresponding eBay notification, message or any link to purchase.

Just a long shot here....

You don't have "Minimum Offer" enabled....do you?

If you do, you will not get notified of any offers that are below that threshold.

thanks. i do have  that on some items, but i'm not getting notifications on other items where that was no min.
