Sales have came to a stop it is pretty sad when mecari and bonanza generates more sales then ebay is anyone else feeling the pain ? i have almost 1,100 items listed and normally get 3 to 4 sales a day but the past 2 weeks everything came to a stop i have been spending my time listing more and more and at this point i am wondering why .

While some is weather-related this week...
Some sellers have been promoted high lately...where their items get more noticed than those promoting under 12%.
1,100 items for sale is not a lot...need like 5,000 to get more window shoppers.

We get these "sales came to a stop" posts here almost every day.
Ebay is up and running.
Other sellers are doing just fine.
PLEASE don't take offense to this...
If your sales are slow, people are not interested in what you're selling.
If they were, your sales wouldn't be slow.
I hope things pick up for you.

I think that's a little unfair my friend for several reasons. Your making an assumption without even asking whether or not they list daily, whether they promote, or ran sales or coupons to generate "3-4 sales per day", let alone understand a store thats much larger tban your own.

Same here-i've had over 300 items listed all month, mostly used books and book lots and sale have been sluggish all year, particularly this month. I've been selling on E-bay almost 20 years and it just feels like E-bay is no longer popular with most people...and the present economic/political situation isn't helping. I think too many people are afraid to spend money on anything that isn't essential..i can't blame them.

Whether the op is seling 3 items, 30 items, 300 items or 3,000 items,
promotions or no promotions, coupons or no coupons, listing daily or not listing daily,
I think it's safe to assume that if there are no sales, nobody is buying anything.
Why do sellers (and apparently you) take that as a insult?
It's not an insult, it's fact and it has nothing to do with fair or unfair.
I'm not a mean person. I have nothing against the op. I don't even know the op.

Consumers have lost confidence in today’s economy.

My sales are chugging along about the same as last year.
A friend of mine does this full time and supports a family on his income here. Sounds to me like his sales are steady. Of course, he's sourcing, listing, and shipping on a daily basis, day in and day out.
I think that counts for a lot.

Good thing that your sale on mecari and bonanza are doing better than ebay.
You are at lest selling somewhere.

The OP stated that they have MORE sales on Mecari and Bonanza...so their items are still wanted.

I agree with you... but apparently not wanted by the people shopping on ebay for the moment.

I looked at a few of the OP's listings. Alot of stuff for kids and it's right after Xmas and before summer. That could explain slow sales.

I'm coming to the conclusion that nearly all categories on eBay are super-saturated. But TBH (slap me eBay mods - go ahead), a lot of what the OP is selling, I've done better with such items on Mercari, as well. It's crazy these days.

That is not necessarily true.

I think it's safe to assume that if there are no sales, nobody is buying anything. That is a fact, albeit a useless fact as it pertains to the OP.

🤣You do know how to get people going.
