I thought I was supposed to get a notification when i received an offer on items for sale, but i was browsing through my listings and found 3 items with expired offers that i would have accepted if I had gotten a notification.
I went back through my messages and email and there were no notifications. so thanks eBay for costing me 3 sales by failing to send notifications.

If you use auto-accept and auto-decline on your Best Offer settings, you will not be notified of any offers below the auto-decline amount. That is so you won't be bothered with lots of low-ball offers that you wouldn't accept anyway and don't want to deal with the people who make such low offers.
If you want to see each and every offer, no matter how low, turn off the auto-decline feature.

True...
But...I wonder then if you would get a notification that you sold something BO and needed to ship it and then get whacked with an untimely shipping defect!
As it's been lately...if it ain't one thing...it's 12...

If you are going to sell here it is a must that you check you sold items and your offers DAILY to avoid missing important information. Never rely on emails, messages, or anything else.

So far there has only been a couple days where there were short delays in getting the sale notifications. I know there are a lot of glitchy things happening back to back on Ebay right now. But most things do work. It is however very frustrating with all these issue to be sure. Best to keep our eyes wide open.

You can set an auto-accept setting too. So at a certain $$ figure it will auto accept the buyer's offer.

Only one issue with turning off that auto -decline...
Whenever ive done that to my listing- id go back and randomly there will be a super low auto accept amount in place that i had not included in the listing.

Ebay does not auto fill those spots in. Sellers have full control of auto accept and/or decline.

Nope. It is unlikely you will ever see one where this happens. Ebay could get into all kinds of trouble with that. Legal trouble. That would likely be considered price fixing, which is illegal.
