newbie - How do I set up flat rate shipping? Can't get $ for additional items to show

I just can't figure this out. I want to charge a flat $4 shipping for the 1st item and an additional $.35 for each additional item (crossing fingers I'll be so lucky for someone to buy more than 1 item). When I preview my listings, all I see is the $4. I don't see $.35 for each additional item.
I've set up a table (I think), gave it a name, and it shows the $.35 each of the half dozen times I've gone back to check if I set it up right or wrong. 
BUT... each time I preview a listing I still only see the $4.

I am so confused. It's probably way easier than I'm making it. What am I missing???

OMG....  I figured it out. All I had to do was check a little box.  YEA!!
