ok.

for those who did offer sincere help,  i appreciate it.

OP, constructive criticism is as sincere a help as any other, despite the sad fact that some cannot accept it with good grace.

I am not sure whether your question about declining sales has been answered.

eBay has made clear that it intends to expand its use of artificial intelligence.

Even without AI, eBay already has the ability to "punish" sellers for things like negative feedback, if it wants to do so.

Is eBay doing such a thing?  No one knows.

I started a discussion a couple of weeks ago on the topic which you can read here.

eBay seller since 1999. This is a posting ID.

OMG, I explained to you exactly how you will be able to accomplish your desire to get that feedback removed.  How you are interpreting that to being unhelpful is beyond explanation.

You are a new seller.  If you think you have done everything correctly and within the rules of Ebay, you likely would not be in this position.  You came here for help, then those that have pointed things out to you to be helpful for you in the future to avoid situations like this, you are taking as an attack on you for some reason.

We ALL make mistakes.  What says the most about a person is not the mistake, but how they handle the mistake and how they conduct themselves moving forward.  If you learned nothing from this, then you will create the mistakes again, which is not something I think you want.  But clearly it is your right to make your own decisions.  I wish you nothing but the best.

Re: negative feedback not fair and not being able to send offers

First off,

I learned ALOT from this between my own personal experience and turning to this blog for help and reading what other contributors had to say. If you’re checking my listings, I have 2 very active toddlers and I have not gotten around to revising my listings to accept returns.

How in the world did you Interpret what I said I claimed was an attack or unhelpful?
And no, “I don’t think I did everything correctly” .

you came on here to offer help but drag my character along the way with your passive aggressive remarks.
