missing listing do they ever resolve?

In my ebay store I have 1748 active listings which is correct. On the managed selling page I have 1724.   24 listings are missing. What ever glitch happened on sunday the 10th. I turned those auctions to bin. As they were going I got a glimpse of something saying about start time. None were scheduled they were supposed to start right then. I have checked the auctions that ended that day thinking I found them but those are not it they are both in the store and on the managed selling page.  They are not in the unsold, drafts or anywhere I can find.I have heard other sellers say listing disappear  on the 29. 30, 31 and then reappear but on the 10th of the month and its been 3 days and they have not shown back up.

I don't even know how to find them. I   searched ann taylor for an example on one it said I have 198 under best match I changed it to newly listed and it went to 195 so do I have 3 missing there? Does anyone know and easier way to try and find what is missing?? I do not have multiple quanties or use oos option.  T

Well, admittedly this is only a guess BUT

My eBay active listing shows 10,800 items but my store shows 10,850.

There are many items I sell that legitimately fall into 2 different store categories. (Understand, I mean my own eBay store, not eBay’s general category listings).

For example under License Plates I have ones that feature military designs. And under Military I have the same license plates. On my listings page that listing would be counted as One. BUT because I have them in 2 different store categories could they maybe be counted as 2 listings?

If so, there is the discrepancy.

Again - only a guess.

missing listing do they ever resolve?

yes, I understand that. I only list in one store category. The reason I know the store is correct and not managed list is because I also sell on Mercari and my listings I import there are from my ebay and they have always matched totals. Now I have 1748 in Mercari. So I have 1748 in my ebay store, 1748 on mercari and 1724 on active selling page so 24 listing are missing this is the first time in 20 years it has ever happened. I was just trying to figure out a way to find them without manually going item by item to find them it will take days.

I have read many posts from other seller saying there listings  have gone poof and calling customer service they are aware it happens and months later nothing has changed.

I thought about ending all the fixed price and relisting to see if that corrects itself but the managed selling is where its off so that is not going to work. or can I end them from my store?

Today I see 1744 listings in your store.  There are two reasons when this count is different than what you see in the Seller Hub under Active listings.

1.  If the seller uses the OOS inventory setting, then buyers can't see those listings in your store as they are only visible to the seller in Active Listings.

2.  A timing difference when things get updated.  Meaning as your listings come up for renewal, it can cause a difference between your active listing number and the number you see in the store temporarily, until the the system syncs up.

My first post on this thread gave you a starting point of when the numbers matched, if that is helpful.

You and your listings are fine.
