looking for advice on how to structure a listing on a cash sale for pick up only

have tried to read article on how to list and structure the listing on sale of an item that will be pick up only and cash on delivery sale. it is a piece of industrial eqpt and the buyer will need a pick up truck  to take it to his or her home or mfg place.

i am not sure of how or when to release the address/location of the piece of equipment for buyer pick up.

suggestions and comments are very much appreciated. with the fraud that takes place and bad checks i want this to be a cash only sale.

You list it with local pickup only and mention that fact in more than one place in the listing.

Local pickup items are known to be cash at pickup.

Presumably, anyone who buys a piece of industrial equipment would know you are not going to ship it.

Just keep in mind that if the buyer pays you in (cash) as far as eBay is

concerned the buyer is still covered by the eBay money back grantee.

i don't want people coming to the location before its sold, its a commercial location but i do appreciate the reply, thx

They are not going to see your address, just your city like your other listings. They would not see your address or contact information, beside the contact the seller on all listings till the item is bought, same as if I bought something and you mailed it.

Payment options: Receive payment on pickup

Shipping:  No shipping, local pickup only........

AFTER the buyer clicks on buy........he receives the Code #'s to give to you and you can email with exact address (if you try it before that, you get a warning not to give personal info)........

On the listing it shows your city and on the payment page it adds cash on pick up to the payment options.
