Related to this question. This is from the Fall Seller Update:
The coming "weeks" has become "months", and I still don't see the promised button. ebay has actually made it harder for buyers to sign up for my newsletter, since many buyers won't know they need to "favorite/heart" my store, and then need to go to their list of Favorites and click the icon with three dots to choose whether to sign up for my newsletter.
Any suggestions as to what we can do in the meantime to encourage people to sign up? And any timeline for this promised button?

tyler@ebay This also raises the question: Where do I go to edit my listing's listing frame? I can no loner find the page to edit the listing frame.

Hey everyone!
Thanks for the tag @mam98031
@mr-alanis the list frames were part of the old store options, there's no option to edit those anymore.
@my-cottage-books-and-antiques thanks for the feedback I will pass it along for sure! In the meantime when you go to Manage Store from your seller hub you'll see under your logo a Shop or About option. If you click About you'll be able to add whatever you like that to encourage buyers to subscribe.

So....the listing frame remains on our listings, with no way to edit it , is that correct? Could you find out what the ultimate fate of the listing frame will be? (including the left hand category nav bar)
And, while we continue to wait for ebay to make it an easy one click process to sign up for our newsletters, we can add something like this to out About section?
"Want to sign up for my weekly store newsletter? It's easy! Just "heart" my store....the heart's up there, somewhere....and then find your list of "Saved Sellers" (if you can) and then find my store in your list, and, see that little circle with the three dots in it, to the left of my store name....yeah, that one...then click on it and it will then give you the option of signing up for my newsletter! OK...it isn't easy, it's actually kind of convoluted, but what do you expect? It's ebay!"
Jasmine, I think you can see why we'd all prefer if ebay actually delivered the promised button....LOL

@my-cottage-books-and-antiques trust me I 100% agree with you! As far as the listing frame showing up on your listings still, is it on older listings only or even on your new ones made from scratch?

jasmen@ebay My most recent listing went up on Dec 2nd, and it has the listing frame. I'll be listing more later today, and I'll check to see if they have the frame. As I recall, the frame was something you set basically as a preference, so that it would apply to all your listings. But it looks like we can no longer edit the frame, nor change the preference in any way, so unless and until they actually do away with it---or replace it---my listings will presumably have the listing frame. I would guess anyone just starting out would not have a listing frame on their listings, since they have no preference that they can set....
So...it would be good to know just what the plan is , going forward , for the listing frame (and the listing page in general).

jasmen@ebay By the way, credit where credit is due....I posted a thread about this, but it sank pretty quickly----a thank you to the Stores Team for adding the ability to add Promotion pages to the new Store Banner....that was also promised in the Fall Update, and we finally have it. Although, as always, I must ask: Why doesn't ebay announce when these features finally go live?

@my-cottage-books-and-antiques If possible, try to do it from scratch instead of sell similar so nothing old carries over. Keep me posted then I can take a deeper dive!

jasmen@ebay I usually use a third party listing tool (SixBit) to list, however, for this listing I went ahead and used ebay's regular listing tool (the newest version, not the classic). And, as you can see, I still have the Listing Frame:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/384577560446
My guess is, ebay removed the page where we can edit the listing frame, but that doesn't mean they removed the ability to continue to use the listing frame if one was set to use it. (If that makes sense)

Thanks so much for the recent example @my-cottage-books-and-antiques what you're saying totally makes sense. I will pass this along and see what can be done!

jasmen@ebay Thanks Jasmen. Just to be clear, I'm not saying I want the listing frame (especially the category list) to vanish. Just want to know what is going on with this....

I'm stuck with the wrong Christmas shipping dates in my listing frame (gives them too much time to order for Christmas). Many hours spent with multiple support staff on the phone trying to figure out the issue before Cottage helped me with the info (Thank you so much!). I'll be solutions oriented and then maybe a polite rant:
So if we can't change it and it still displays (which is a dirty deed on eBay's part) can you guys at least allow support to change it. One of the support people I spoke to today finally found a way he could change it (after 30+ mins) but said he was not allowed to do so.
I hope eBay is ready to remove negative feedback/ODR from disappointed customers/canceled orders, cause I know I'm not the only one who used that for holiday shipping information. At least I have been able to confirm that the issue is not on my end. It's not like I wasted hours across 3 browsers trying to change things because it was not well announced and support staff doesn't know either (and it's hard to search for).

jasmen@ebay To provide a little more background: As I recall, the header/listing frame was an exclusive perk for store subscribers (if I'm wrong, maybe some other old timer can correct me). This is why it fell under the purview of the Stores Team, even though it had nothing to do with the Store Home Page....it appears on listing pages, not store home pages. Going out on a limb here, I suspect the Stores Team simply eliminated the ability to edit this because it had nothing to do with the Stores Home Page, and no one on the Stores team has been on ebay long enough to know that the listing frame was a stores exclusive (even though unrelated to the Stores Homepage).
So, now, all new and existing listing frames are essentially zombie listing frames....we can't easily eliminate them from our listings, nor can we edit them.
And I'm guessing no one at ebay is sure who is responsible for this. The team in charge of listing page design? (if there is such a team....might in fact be Bradford's Buyer Team?) Or the Stores Team, since this was a stores exclusive?
But somebody really needs to step up to the plate and deal with this ASAP....the Law of Unintended Consequences is crashing down on sellers as @legendoffanboy points out.
