I struggle with lighting. So decided to look for some standing lights for better photographs

Any suggestions for lighting that is not overly expensive. under $100? if possible

Thank you

Nothing beats the natural light of the great outdoors.
Sometimes just using a white background works.
Or using a light box as pictured below Walmart.com  has them for around $15 bucks

Don't  have any florescent lights around.

Use a light blue background

Fluorescent bulbs for photography are

best for budget-friendly studios and product photography due to their energy efficiency and low heat. Look for daylight-balanced bulbs (around 5500K to 6500K) to avoid green casts and achieve a more natural look. High-frequency ballasts are necessary for flicker-free results, or consider modern LED equivalents that replace fluorescent tubes for better performance.

An overhead florescent light fixture works great & they do not cost much, You can find them in any home improvement store, they are usually for garages or work spaces.

I use a desktop seamless lightbox and 2 cheap $10 desk lamps with super bright "daylight" LED bulbs.

I usually use four or more small lights from different angles when taking pictures of items.

I use software. I just don't have the space for a lightbox.
