What a screwed up system! A US buyer wants to make 2 purchases so I combined the 2 in 1 listings. I set the prices we agreed to. My shipping is $15. When he puts the listing in his cart, the shipping is $26. So I make a change then the shipping drops to $12. I have NEVER added those charges when I created this listing or any other. Even when I put the buy it now total to include S/H & mark it free shipping, it does not work out. Anyone know how all of this is possible? lol

I'm hoping I solved it by adding US shipping to the listing. I thought it was automatic with EIS offered.

Once I gave the shipping option to the US & put the charge at $15, the buyer told me it came up as free. What a headache!

Unbelievable! I thought the problem was fixed but once I gave the option for US shipping, it must have cancelled the EIS Canada option & his regular address appears on the order; not the hub address. 😞

You got me?

Once I refunded, it dipped into my funds that would be deposited tomorrow. Funds I NEED to get my mail posted. Argh! Now those funds won't go through until Thurs. Back to square one with the purchase. The buyer puts it in his cart. I think my only options are for him to make the purchase then I can see what corrections can be done on the invoice before he pays. Or, he pays what it says & I refund him the difference from the total price we agreed on. I do not know of any other ways to handle it.

Being new to EIS, I finally figured it out! The cost of EIS mailing the package to him is already added to the charges. This is where I lose control of shipping charges. I thought those added charges came later when buyers have to pay duty, etc.

I ended up losing the sale. 😞
