items not showing up in store

i am new to ebay selling. I listed my first item and, it does not show in the results when I searched with that name? what is that? and what are the solutions for that?

When did you create the listing? It can take 24 hours for a listing to index into the system and search. That's especially true for brand new sellers.

Also- you're located in Sri Lanka so you may not see your own listing in search unless you offer shipping to Sri Lanka.

I created the list about 12 hours ago. I enabled the shipping for Asian countries. I will check after 24 hours. thanks for your help mate.......

Yep- it just went live. It wasn't there 15 minutes ago when I looked.

I searched on ebay India and it popped up even though it looks like it's listed on ebay U.S.
