issues Selling, Buyer is Taking a Break

I've been having an issue for months with this account. Whenever a buyer tries to check out sellers are met with a message saying "Seller is Taking a Break", my store isn't or has ever been in vacation mode. Link attached to see what I mean.

I've reached out to support over the months and they just tell me my account is part of a select few being affected and I've not been offered a solution. It's frustrating because I use this account quite a bit. Any advice would be appreciated.

It's a technical issue which Ebay is aware of based off your comments so there really isn't anything you can do as far as this particular account.

I think this is another case of CSR being clueless and just making stuff up, because I don't see that on the listing you linked to.

"If it sold FAST, it was priced too low" - also Reese Palley

I recommend going on vacation mode (time away) for a few hours.  Maybe starting up again will get everything in sync.  It can't hurt?  EBay works in mysterious ways.

I don't see that message on your listing.

Neither do I but I didn't actually purchase the item and try to checkout.

Do you mean 'buyers'??

ps.- since you only have the 1 item, try listing another item or end this one and relist it.

Could also be, since you only have 1 item, that you are not set up with a bank account so ebay is blocking purchases (in a strange way)?

I don't see any messages on that link. Maybe they fixed it.

You have to attempt to buy it, this comes up... Screenshot 2024-12-17 142806.png

Try going into your listing and check what country and zip code you have listed as home.   Click on the see details.  It should bring up your home zip code but with Australian options being promoted maybe you accidently checked Australian shipping and never changed it back?

I actually attempted to purchase the item and in fact got the message. This is really an odd one and a first I do believe. You have been selling for quite some time so I can't see it being an issue with your account settings or banking information.

I don't see anything in your sold listings for the last 90 days when was the last time you actually managed to sell something? How long has this issue with the break been going on? If you want to try to do a sell similar and post when it is up, or list something else and let everyone know when it is up either myself or somebody else will see if the problem persists with the new listing.

Did support actually give you some type of ticket number or just tell you what you wanted to hear to get you off the phone. Support is not real reliable these days unless you go through one of the social media sites.
