is there a 4th dimension?

listed 15 things yesterday and had them all laying on my table to tag and put up today but 4 of them sold overnight so i was getting them ready for Monday and one of the sold items has went missing, it just does not seem possible, have looked high and low, retraced every step I have taken and have basically gave up, just hoping it drops out of the black hole it disappeared into by Monday.

Happens all the time as I get older. Also the washing machine only eats one of a pair of socks. Probably goes to said dimension.

Usually when that happens to me it's because my sister took it. Then when I call her out on it, the item magically reappears somewhere I would have never put it

I figured it out!! and do I feel silly.

My normal procedure is bring a box of stuff into the office, list 12 or so, tag each with a sticker with title, ebay # and storage location then put those items in their storage location.

I stopped in the middle of that process to do the daily shipping and one of the items that I had listed but not tagged had just sold so I shipped it with the rest and quit for the day.

The next day I went to tag my newly listed items and 4 had sold so the first thing I wanted to do was separate the sold items and tag the rest, I had completely forgot about already shipping the one that had sold the day before.

Some people will laugh at your post but I am a firm believer of what you talked about.

I have personally seen many instances that could not be explained, but I have never had a poltergeist live with me.  However, my sister had a male poltergeist live with her family for a while.  They even gave him a name.  He hid things (often jewelry) which would show up later, messed with room temperature controls, pulled covers off beds, that sort of thing.  The worst thing he did was hide some cash, a few hundred dollars, that my sister had stashed away, until it magically reappeared one day several months later in the original place where she had left it.   He stayed with them for a couple of years and then suddenly, he was gone.
