I think you mean "made to order", but will let someone else answer your question.

You need to change your "handling time" to allow you time to make products. Go to LISTING, ACTIVE (click on listing you want to revise) Change Handling Time. You sure to give yourself enough time to manufacturer product (if you don't ship item by deadline you will get a "defect" on your account).
Some customers may want to purchase jacket without "custom work". You could have 2 different listings (one with fast turn around time = no custom work) and another listing that allows (custom work = slow turn around time).
Important thing is that you meet shipping deadline (at you set) or this will affect your account.

IMO buyers want instant gratification. They want to buy it today and have it in hand tomorrow.
I can't imagine how hard it would be to get ALL buyers to actually read a listing so they know
if there will be any, ANY sort of delay.
Been wrong before, But that's me and your mileage may vary.

In my opinion, made to order could have some draw backs. Ebay is a buy it now market place. If you offer made to order, the customer may have wait longer than the time that you ship or take to make the order, etc. What if you run out of certain materials or get back logged with orders? It could get messy and you'll be getting a lot of complaints that could taint your business.
Stick to the Ebay platform. Buy it will work best for you.

As others have noted it depends on you're turn around time and time to arrival... These days generally you've three days, on the outside four that items best be shipped w/ tracking. It would also be wise to say what customization "Made to Order" means. For example one might have jackets as you have listed and then want print or embroider sports logos or such upon them or even customize them with sewn in patches that actually are licensed but does not allow the licensee or buyer to use them to customize say jackets for resale, not allowed as those would be need be licensed to be used.

Plenty of people are actually willing to wait for a custom-made item, but this is a tough place to actually sell made-to-order because the site isn't oriented to bespoke, so your customers might not be here. My advice is to offer already made items with stated variations (colour, embellishment, etc.) already available. Pakistan has an excellent reputation for leatherwork so you've got that in your favour - good luck!

Are you actually doing the "Made to Order"?? or are you drop shipping from China??
If you are drop shipping that could be a BIG problem for you.
No control of product or time = trouble with eBay and Buyers.
If you Personally make and sell the custom items it can be done with a longer Handling Time or as a Preorder Purchase.

not from china, i have my own factory in Pakistan. Most of products I produce myself.

Your factory in Pakistan will have an extended shipping time. Add that to the time you have to make the item, I would say this is not a good idea. Shipping fees will be high as well. Sizes may be different with US sizes. I see too many problems.
